This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. This policy is valid from December 18, 2014 That being said, because this product was basically dispersed glitter and not that glowy sheen I look for in a highlight, I’m going to pass it onto a friend who will get good use out of it and give it a forever home.Īll products are purchased with personal funds, unless otherwise stated. It didn’t take any extra elbow grease, just some tapping and blending motions with my finger, and it didn’t mess with the concealer underneath. I will say that this highlighter blended the most easily out of any stick highlighter I’ve tried. I think I would have really enjoyed this highlighter is the shade that appeared in my arm swatch actually translated to my face. Now, don’t get me wrong, some people like glitter in their highlighter, but it’s just not my cup of tea. What was left behind was a fine micro glitter. However, when I blended the product out on my face, the metallic taupe was nowhere to be found. In the arm swatches below you can see how the ColourPop highlighter is this neat metallic taupe shade. I applied this highlighter straight to the tops of my cheeks, right out of the tube, and blended it out with my fingers. The ColourPop Lite Stix in Star Brite comes in a retractable cantaloupe tube. So although I rarely use stick highlighters, my friend gave me this highlighter stick, so I wanted to give it a shot. In my experience, I have found stick highlighters to be hard to blend and difficult to use with foundation or concealer underneath. My preference is powder highlighter, followed by liquid highlighter, with stick highlighters being last on my list. If it sparkles, shimmers or shines I’m all about it.īut I’m pretty particular with what formula of highlighter I like to use. Which means these will not run down your eyes after splashing water, just do not rub your eyes and you’ll be fine.I’m a big lover of highlighter. These are water resistant and not water-proof. These liners do become crumbly if you layer more than 2-3 times(Same issue you’ll find with Maybelline metallic range). The formula sometimes sting my eyes if my eyes are feeling super-sensitive any day but not as much as Lakme absolute 9 to 5 eyeliner does. They dry within 1 minute and stay put all day. But if you layer these more than 2 layers, it can dry up crumbly. Brown: Copper brown with metallic finish.Īll 4 shades have good pigmentation.Grey: Slate grey with silver shimmer, metallic finish.Green: Moss Green with golden shimmer, metallic finish.Blue: Greyish Blue with metallic finish.Shades, Pigmentation & Finish:Īll 4 shades of Elle 18 Color Pop Liners have metallic finish. The liners go on easily on eyes and dry within 1 min of application. Smell & Consistency:Įlle 18 Color Pop eyeliners have medium liquid consistency and do not have any funny smell. Thin bristle wand gives control for precise application. The packaging is super cute and hard to break (Says yours truly miss clumsy hands who dropped these several time). My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pop Liners: Packaging:Įlle 18 Color Pop Liners come in a round glass bottle similar to Elle 18 nailpaints. Sometime i just apply kajal, colored liner, mascara and some highlight in inner corner and Eyemakeup is done with minimum effort :). Two even if you apply just colored liner and mascara, it makes you look like that you have put some effort getting ready :). One they can amp up any look and take it to next level.
